Painters' Lake House: Canvas is designed for artists seeking inspiration in a peaceful lakeside setting. It accommodates two families of painters for a period of three months. The aim is to create a balance between living spaces and areas meant for collaboration. Thoughtful design choices highlight the beauty of the natural landscape, promoting creativity and self-expression.
Living Spaces

The workshop is organized across two levels. The ground floor serves as a co-working space and exhibition area, allowing artists to collaborate and display their work. On the upper level, individual studios provide a private area for each artist, featuring ample windows that offer views of the lake. This connection to nature serves to inspire creativity and focus.
Ecological Considerations
Attention to ecological principles plays a significant role in the design. Features are incorporated to create habitats for local wildlife, such as bats, in the attics of the living units and workshop. This intentional focus on the environment demonstrates a commitment to sustainability and enhances the overall design.
