The Yoga House on a Cliff is set in a serene landscape that encourages reflection and mindfulness. Designed as a retreat for yoga practice, it seeks to enhance the bond between individuals and the natural environment. The circular layout promotes movement and flow, symbolizing the ongoing journey of self-discovery while integrating elements such as light, air, and sound into the experience.

Spatial Configuration
The building features a circular form that harmonizes with the natural rhythms of the day. This design invites movement, allowing practitioners to navigate the space freely. Different areas cater to individual needs, providing options for both open-air practice and sheltered sessions. Users can choose how to engage with their surroundings based on their preferences for connection or solitude.

Interaction with Nature
A core aspect of the Yoga House is its relationship with the surrounding landscape. The design incorporates natural elements, allowing sunlight, air, and sounds to become part of the practice. This interaction encourages mindfulness, as individuals can respond to the changing environment while focusing on their own inner experiences.

Material Selection
Specific materials support the design's vision. Powdered limestone plaster creates a calming atmosphere, while bamboo connects users to the outdoors through its sustainable nature. Linoleum offers a practical flooring option, ensuring durability and a smooth surface that enhances movement during practice.

Natural light filters through the bamboo structure, creating soft patterns that shift and change throughout the day. This subtle action enhances the user's experience, fostering a deeper connection between the individual and the tranquil setting.
