Moon Energies is a meditation cabin located within the Earth Energies Sanctuary. Designed to help individuals reconnect with themselves and the natural world, it embodies the relationship between the Moon and Earth. The overall concept emphasizes harmony with the environment, creating a tranquil space for reflection and inner peace.

Design Concept

The design showcases a minimalist style that fosters an open connection between the interior and the outdoors. A unique roof made of glass and bamboo allows moonlight to fill the meditation space during rituals. This feature creates a special atmosphere that encourages users to engage with celestial cycles and feel a deeper sense of spirituality.

Spatial Organization

The layout of the cabin is carefully crafted to capture sunlight throughout the day. It also invites elements of nature, such as wind and rain, to contribute to the experience. This thoughtful arrangement helps cultivate a serene environment, essential for meditation. Users can find themselves immersed in their surroundings, promoting mindfulness and calm.

Materiality

Materials used in the cabin include glass, bamboo, and concrete. These choices support the design's intentions while ensuring functionality. The use of natural materials fosters a stronger connection between the occupants and the landscape, highlighting the project’s commitment to environmental awareness.

Inside the cabin, the altar is positioned southward to benefit from maximum sunlight. This feature serves both a practical purpose and enhances the meditative experience, as users interact with the natural light while engaging in their rituals. The combination of design and function contributes to the overall essence of the space.
