The SAMSUNG 26.5 Coffee Kiosk is a thoughtful addition to urban spaces, designed to serve both as a coffee shop and a gathering point for the community. It emphasizes a user-friendly experience while integrating smoothly with its environment. This kiosk aims to enhance social interactions while providing an efficient space for coffee preparation.

Design Concept

The structure features a modular design divided into three sections, making it easy to transport and assemble. This approach caters to the needs of urban settings where flexibility is essential. A central area for the barista prioritizes functionality and user interaction. The layout ensures that preparing coffee is an engaging process for both the staff and customers, turning daily routines into moments of connection.

Materials and Aesthetics

The materials chosen for the kiosk play a crucial role in its appeal. Warm wood, back-lit Corian, and bright red painted steel come together to create a balanced visual effect. The back of the Corian panels showcases a gradient pattern inspired by coffee cup lids, providing an interesting texture. LED backlighting, powered by photovoltaic film, enhances visibility during darker hours, ensuring the kiosk stands out to passersby.

Functional Features

The design also includes a roof deck that provides extra seating and views of the surrounding area. This feature allows for more versatility, making it an attractive spot, regardless of the weather. The kiosk’s ability to navigate modest grade slopes adds to its accessibility and encourages community engagement by inviting a mix of visitors to relax and enjoy their coffee.

Design Detail

In blending social spaces into its design, the kiosk emphasizes its role in community life. The combination of practical features and attention to aesthetic details invites people to stop and connect. Bright red steel accents echo the color of coffee beans and enhance its visual identity, turning the kiosk into a welcoming spot within the busy urban landscape.
