We are a group of fresh graduates from UTAR looking to grow within the built environment.
Brief information about the projects that you/your company have been involved with. For instance, what scale have you focused on/preferred, any significant projects where the company/ individuals have been Involved?
Our experience is limited, but it is with determination that we are working to be involved in greater varieties of projects so that we may explore as many facets of architecture as we can.
What does architecture mean to you and what is the role of an architect in your society?
Being able to serve the people and leave behind a permanent mark that will positively influence many for generations to come.
Why do you participate in architecture competitions?
Having a means to express oneself creatively is highly valuable, as the professional world rarely offers opportunities to design purely from whimsy and imagination.
What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture competitions?
If there is an idea that you feel strongly about, best not leave it to fade. The possibility of having your ideas made known to the world comes in long unpredictable intervals, so do make the best of it.
