H24/7 is situated in the Hansaviertel Quarter of Berlin and aims to address the challenges of urban density through innovative housing approaches. The design centers on a housing tower that integrates living spaces with community-focused areas. One unique feature is the dedicated space for music production and celebration, reflecting Berlin's rich cultural background. The project seeks to create a harmonious environment for both individual residents and the broader community.

Design Concept

The design embraces modularity, allowing for flexibility in housing arrangements. Residents can choose their unit type and layout within the tower, giving them the chance to personalize their living experience. This adaptability caters to different lifestyle needs. It also helps integrate various household sizes, from single occupants to larger families, into the same building.

Housing Typologies

H24/7 presents four different housing types, each designed for efficiency. Type 1 is a 30 m² simplex with one room, suitable for singles. Type 2 is a 60 m² simplex featuring two rooms, making it appropriate for small families. Type 3 offers a 125 m² simplex with three rooms for larger households, while Type 4 consists of a 100 m² duplex with three rooms. The diversity in types allows for a more dynamic living environment, accommodating a range of preferences.

Community Integration

The circulation spaces within the tower are designed to promote interaction among residents while ensuring easy movement throughout the building. These areas help create a sense of community, balancing personal space with social opportunities. Loggias provide outdoor areas for residents, offering a way to connect with nature without leaving the building. This feature adds an important layer to the living experience.

External Rejuvenation

The project also aims to improve the surrounding green spaces, which addresses the need for more natural elements in urban settings. Enhancing these areas not only benefits the residents but also contributes positively to the neighborhood. The thoughtful design promotes a lifestyle that values both community and the environment, resulting in a more enjoyable urban living experience. The focus on these details helps foster a better connection between people and their city.
