The project "Untouched" presents a significant architectural endeavor situated in a rural landscape characterized by olive groves. This architectural design focuses on creating a retreat for artists while prioritizing environmental integration and sustainability. The project aims to operate as a communal space for creative individuals, promoting both individual and collaborative artistic endeavors.

The overall design is informed by the surrounding topography, allowing the structures to blend into the environment seamlessly. Important architectural components include a hostel, artist workshops, and residences, each designed to fulfill specific functions conducive to creativity and community interaction.

The hostel serves as the main accommodation for visitors and artists. It features shared spaces that foster collaboration while providing private sleeping quarters. The use of rammed earth as the primary construction material offers thermal mass benefits, contributing to energy efficiency. Large glass elements provide ample natural light and foster connections with the outdoor landscape.

Artist workshops are positioned strategically to take advantage of natural light while ensuring privacy and focus for the artists. The integration of stained glass within the structure adds both aesthetic value and a unique artistic touch. Additionally, the use of Corten steel provides a contrast to the natural materials, enhancing the visual composition and durability of the building.

Residential spaces for artists prioritize comfort and a connection to nature. The design incorporates earth-sheltering techniques, reducing visibility and environmental impact. The overall integration of rammed earth and glass roofs allows for passive heating and natural illumination, which supports sustainable living practices.

The uniqueness of this project lies in its thoughtful integration with the landscape, minimizing visual intrusion and maximizing environmental harmony. The design approach highlights sustainability through material choice, enabling a retreat that respects and enhances its natural surroundings.

The architectural plans, sections, and designs of "Untouched" offer further insights into the intricacies of its functional and aesthetic elements. For those interested in a deeper exploration of architectural ideas, reviewing the detailed components of this project is encouraged.
