Diego Baraona founded the architecture office DBAA - Diego Baraona Arquitectos y Asociados in 2018. He studied architecture at the Universidad del Desarrollo in Santiago de Chile, receiving his degree in 2017 with the highest distinction.  While a student he investigated local ceramic and porcelain workshops, leading to a particular approach towards craftsmanship that is reflected in his work.

Martin Beverfjord is co-founder of Oslo-based Rever & Drage. He obtained his Master of Architecture from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology specializing in architectural theory, semiotics and wooden constructions. River & Drage’s portfolio includes a triangular, aluminium toilet near the Farstadsanden beach on the west coast of Norway on one of the country's national scenic tourist routes.

Greg Corso of Syracuse NY-based SPORTS Collaborative is a designer from California. Greg received both his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Architecture from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He has worked in art and architecture studios in the United States and Europe including Studio Gang, JDS Architects, and Cliff Garten Studio and has been a fellow at the MacDowell Colony. Greg has taught architecture and design at Woodbury University, The University of Illinois at Chicago, and is currently an Assistant Professor at Syracuse University, School of Architecture.

Gonçalo Marrote is an architect and CEO at Madeiguincho, based in Cascais, Portugal. The seeds that gave birth to Madeiguincho were planted by Gonçalo’s grandfather, who taught the art and secrets of carpentry to Gonçalo’s father. Officially open since 1990, Gonçalo started to collaborate with Madeiguincho in 2005. After finishing his studies in Architecture and postgraduate studies in Sculpture, he lived and worked abroad in India, the United States and Australia. After returning to Portugal in 2014, he is now leading Madeiguincho as CEO and Architect, joining three generations of knowledge in carpentry, architecture and art.

Rok Oman co-founded OFIS architects in 1996.  The international team is based in Ljubljana, Slovenia and Paris, France and has partner firm agreements in London and Moscow. Rok currently teaches at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

Stephen Pimbley is a British architect based in Singapore and is the founding director of SPARK Architects. SPARK has developed an easily transportable 3d printed toilet module in support of the UN initiative to combat open defecation and the associated issues of hygiene and sanitation in India. SPARK’s concept converts human waste into biogas and via a micro combined heat and power unit, converts the biogas into electricity.

Angelo Renna is an architect with a keen interest in multi-species narratives, one he developed during his studies in Florence and Porto, and was further honed through collaborations with different offices, such as Stefano Boeri in Milan and Topotek in Berlin. He recently published the book Monkey Factor – Small stories for a reconciliation with nature.

Erik “Rick” Sommerfeld is an Architect, Assistant Professor and the Director of ColoradoBuildingWorkshop, the design-build program at the University of Colorado Denver. The program embraces small projects with tight budgets, short timelines and challenging site constraints to create innovative architectural solutions.
