Architectural Form and Layout
The design consists of three separate modules that rise from the ground, each blending with the natural slopes of the site. A mineral cover protects the funeral aisles, which are bordered by lockers that accommodate multiple urns. This arrangement allows visitors to personalize memorial spaces while ensuring a respectful atmosphere. The overall layout features hills and winding pathways that promote exploration and reflection, inviting visitors to engage with their surroundings.

Landscaping and Biodiversity
The landscaping is crucial to the design, incorporating a diverse selection of plants such as simple grass, tall grasses from the Deschampsia genus, and various prairie flowers. This choice not only supports local wildlife but also enhances the site’s natural appeal. The deliberate integration of these plants encourages a smooth transition between the built environment and the surrounding forest, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Memorial Features and Details
A distinctive element of the columbarium is the curtain of commemorative amulets hanging beneath the roofs of the modules. These amulets display the names of the deceased, allowing visitors to connect personally with the memorial space. This thoughtful addition enriches the experience of those visiting, creating a deeper interaction between the architecture and the memories honored within this quiet setting.
