The Monte d'Oiro architectural design is situated in Portugal's famous wine region, where it connects with the beautiful landscape of vineyards. The project serves as both a wine center and a place for accommodation, focusing on a design that integrates built spaces with the surrounding nature. The architecture emphasizes simplicity and clean lines, allowing it to complement the existing environment rather than compete with it.

Design Concept
The main aim of the design is to create visual frames that showcase the surrounding vineyards. The buildings are arranged in a staggered layout, which enhances sightlines and encourages movement between indoor and outdoor spaces. Large windows and openings allow plenty of natural light to enter, helping to create a sense of openness and connection to nature.

Spatial Organization
Each building includes outdoor terraces that promote interaction with the setting. One terrace is located near the lobby and bar, encouraging socializing, while another is connected to the restaurant, offering diners beautiful views of the vineyards. This thoughtful layout not only serves practical purposes but also enhances the overall guest experience.

Room Configuration
The accommodations consist of three different modules with a variety of single and double rooms. Each room is designed for comfort and privacy, featuring built-in balcony niches that provide small outdoor areas for guests. These niches allow individuals to relax and take in the vineyard views. Additionally, bathrooms are positioned to take advantage of the site, providing guests with pleasant scenery.

Materiality
Local materials have been used in the design to reduce environmental impact and reflect regional building traditions. Walls are finished with white lime paint, blending harmoniously with the landscape. The flooring features local stone and Portuguese marble, providing a durable and tactile quality to the interiors. Wooden wardrobes and shelves offer warmth and practicality, adding to the comfort of each space.

The design culminates in careful details that frame the views of the vineyards, creating a setting that enhances the experience of being surrounded by nature. By emphasizing these connections, the project manages to celebrate the region's inherent beauty.
