Colorful Slices with Acoustic Panels in a Flexible Workspace

Project in-detail

With its vibrant slices and integrated acoustic panels, the design creates a modular workspace that encourages collaborative and individual activities while adapting to diverse user needs.
5 key facts about this project
01
Vibrant slices optimize flexibility and enhance user creativity.
02
Integrated acoustic panels improve sound quality throughout the workspace.
03
Modular design allows for quick reconfiguration to suit various activities.
04
Natural airflow is enhanced through innovative air filtration systems.
05
Communal areas encourage spontaneous collaboration and interaction.

The Sliced Office Concept presents a modern workspace that focuses on flexibility and adaptability. It features a design where each segment, or slice, serves a different function while fitting together with others. This approach creates a work environment that encourages both individual productivity and collaborative efforts. The layout integrates communal areas that cater to various needs within a professional context.

Communal Areas

Positioned strategically beneath the sliced structure, communal areas enhance interaction among people using the space. These designated zones are designed for collaboration and spontaneous meetings, allowing users to engage with one another naturally. By fostering social exchanges, the layout promotes a sense of community and teamwork.

Ventilation and Sound Absorption

One significant aspect of the design is its ability to improve air quality and reduce noise through integrated ventilation and sound absorption systems. These features are important for creating a comfortable and effective working atmosphere. The slices play a role in filtering air, directly impacting the environment's quality and contributing to users' well-being.

Adaptive Design Modes

The workspace offers various modes tailored to specific activities. Options include Free Mode, Single Workspace + Seating Mode, Meeting Mode, Meeting + Single Workspace Mode, Single Workspace + Relaxing Mode, and Meeting Mode + Discussion Mode. These configurations allow the space to adapt to the diverse needs of its users throughout the day, making the workspace versatile.

Air Quality Enhancements

Materials used in the design focus on improving the functionality of the workspace. Cellulose acoustic panels are included for their sound-absorbing properties, while air filter layers ensure clean air. In addition, components such as cotton, felt, and steel mesh contribute to the acoustic and air filtration systems, creating an inviting and healthy working environment.

The transparent and colorful slices enhance the visual appeal and allow for personalization of the space. Users can rearrange the slices to suit their preferences for different tasks. Each slice serves a purpose, contributing to a functional design that responds to the needs of a modern workspace.
