Zack Giffin is an American carpenter-skier and co-hosts of the hit A&E/Netflix series Tiny House Nation. Renowned for his inventive, space-saving designs and creative approach to compact living areas, he built his own 120-square-foot “tiny ski house on wheels” in 2011—traveling over 30,000 miles—before bringing his unique skill set and experience to television. Beyond TV, Zack is a tireless advocate for the tiny home movement. He serves as Vice President of the Tiny Home Industry Association, sits on the board of the nonprofit Operation Tiny Home (which supports homeless veterans), and is a voting member of the ICC 1215 Committee for Tiny House Standards. His commitment to ending prohibitions against tiny homes reflects both his appreciation for simple, functional design and his deep belief in the transformative power of our built environment. With a background as an athlete and an artist, Zack brings a blend of creativity, craftsmanship, and fun to every project. Whether inventing space-saving solutions on Tiny House Nation or working to update building codes with the ICC, he’s dedicated to removing barriers for tiny homes everywhere.
