Tili Wine Guest Homes is located in the beautiful landscape near Assisi, Italy. This development connects Tili Winery, Tili 21 event space, and accommodations designed for visitors seeking relaxation. The design concept focuses on blending the essence of wine with the surrounding environment, allowing guests to enjoy a peaceful escape amid vineyards.

Layout and Spatial Organization

The layout includes a series of boutique guest homes that prioritize both privacy and social interaction. Public and private spaces are distinct yet complementary, creating a layered experience. Each home is positioned to take advantage of scenic views, ensuring that visitors can engage with the landscape while enjoying their stay.

Centerpiece Courtyard

An inner courtyard serves as the project's focal point, echoing traditional cloister designs and featuring a wine tasting terrace. This communal area encourages guests to gather and socialize. Drawing inspiration from historical monastic architecture, it provides a tranquil space, enhancing the connection to local culture and heritage.

Architectural Detailing

The five guest homes share similar two-storey designs that reference the historic towers found in the region. The ground floor accommodates essential living spaces, such as the entrance, kitchen, dining, and living areas. On the upper level are bedrooms and private patios. This arrangement enables guests to find personal retreat areas after socializing, allowing for both community and solitude.

Material Selection

Material choice is key to the character of Tili Wine Guest Homes. Reused bricks from existing structures are prominent, promoting sustainability while harmonizing with the landscape. Natural stone pavement and wooden terraces contribute to outdoor living, while solid wood roofs add warmth and stability. This selection underscores a commitment to environmental responsibility and authenticity in design.

The garden is designed with local plants, including grapes, olive trees, and cypresses, creating a peaceful environment representative of the Umbrian countryside. It invites guests to explore and connect with the landscape, highlighting the thoughtful design behind Tili Wine Guest Homes.
