The "Tili Vini" project is located in the beautiful Umbria-Marche Apennines. It combines a winery, a wine tasting area, and guest accommodations. The design emphasizes a connection to the local landscape while respecting traditional building methods. By preserving the rustic farmhouse on the property, the project aims to blend history with modern functionality.

Preservation and Rehabilitation

At the heart of the design is the preservation of the farmhouse, which plays a key role in the overall concept. This structure holds local historical significance and serves as the main space for wine tasting. The plan focuses on rehabilitating the farmhouse by removing inappropriate additions and highlighting its original characteristics, allowing it to remain a central feature within the layout.

Public and Private Spaces

The layout of the building is thoughtfully organized across two levels. The ground floor is primarily public-facing, featuring essential areas such as a kitchen, chilling room, reception counter, and dining area. Visitors can access the tasting room on the upper level via a spiral staircase. This design creates a natural flow between public engagement and more private experiences. Guest accommodations run parallel to the farmhouse, providing five residential units that maximize views of the surrounding countryside while ensuring guest privacy.

Sustainable Practices

Sustainability is a vital aspect of the design, emphasizing responsibility in building methods and materials. The project incorporates formwork blocks made from mineralized wood and reinforced concrete, which offer stability and thermal efficiency. A green roof is part of the design, aiding in rainwater management and reuse. Solar panels and photovoltaic systems will meet energy needs, demonstrating a commitment to environmental concerns.

Visual Integration with Nature

Large windows and openings throughout the design enhance views of the surrounding landscape, including Mount Subasio and the lush agricultural fields. This connection to nature allows ample natural light to fill the interior spaces, fostering a strong relationship between what is built and the outdoor environment.

A natural pool at the center of the site acts as a focal point, creating a relaxing area for guests while embodying a sense of tranquility. This feature adds to the overall ambiance, inviting visitors to enjoy the beauty and calm of the Umbria-Marche region.
