The Coffee House(s) is a mobile coffee venue designed to fit into various urban spaces. It serves as a gathering place where coffee lovers can come together and engage. The design focuses on creating a welcoming environment that enhances interaction between baristas and customers. With a dual-sided layout, the structure promotes easy access for everyone, fostering a sense of community around coffee.

Design Layout

The layout features mirrored openings at opposite ends, which give the interior a feeling of spaciousness despite its small footprint. This is especially useful in crowded urban areas where space is often limited. The aim is to offer a comfortable setting that encourages conversations and enhances the experience of enjoying coffee.

Functional Elements

Key operational components are included in the design to support effective service. The barista station contains essential tools, such as a coffee machine situated on a 38-inch working surface. There is also a standard sink for water management and provisions for both waste water and clean water. A refrigerator is included as well, ensuring all necessary equipment is close at hand. These details combine to create an efficient workspace in a compact environment.

User Engagement

The design promotes user engagement by separating spaces for customers and baristas. This arrangement allows for more direct interaction between patrons and those preparing their drinks. By enhancing this communication, the project creates a lively atmosphere where people feel connected to the coffee-making process.

Operable sidings illustrate the mobile aspect of the coffee house. This feature makes it adaptable to different locations, allowing it to fit into various community settings. It effectively integrates the coffee house into its surroundings, contributing to a consistent and enjoyable experience for coffee drinkers.
