"Top of the Bog" is set in the natural landscape of Kemeri Park. The design introduces an observation path that elevates visitors, enhancing their experience of the surrounding scenery. By connecting with the existing geography, it serves as an extension of the environment while promoting accessibility for all.

Concept and Context

The design is based on understanding and respecting the natural lines present in the landscape. This approach allows the structure to blend with the features of the park instead of standing apart from it. The result is a hill-like formation that mirrors the verticality found in local natural elements. This encourages visitors to form a deeper connection with the environment.

Structural Dynamics

The observation path consists of ramps that lead visitors upward. As they climb, the space between the beams becomes narrower, creating a unique sense of progress. This thoughtful design enhances interaction, stimulating exploration as visitors take in the landscape from various heights and angles.

Materiality and Texture

Gradient-shaped cladding is a significant feature of the design, contributing to its visual character. Although specific materials are not identified, the focus on texture suggests a response to light and surroundings. This cladding plays an important role in how the structure interacts with the environment, reflecting changes in light and engaging with the greenery around.

Visual Experience

The design offers a varied visual journey, where the relationship between the structure and landscape creates an engaging narrative. The observation path winds through the site, providing views that change with each step. This arrangement not only invites observation but also encourages visitors to immerse themselves in the layered elements of the Kemeri Park landscape.
