GAMMA, the Blue Clay Country SPA, features a design that connects closely with its natural surroundings. Situated among a landscape filled with trees, the structure aims to provide a space for wellness and relaxation. The overall design approach focuses on harmonizing architecture with nature while creating welcoming areas for visitors to unwind.

Architecture Concept

The concept for GAMMA is inspired by the form of a tree. The building is elevated to encourage an engagement with the environment and allows guests to feel encompassed by the tree canopy. This arrangement promotes a thoughtful flow between various functions, such as therapy rooms, a restaurant, and a spa. Each space is designed to cater to both social interactions and moments of solitude.

Logistics and Structure

The trunk of the building serves as the main support and logistical center. It provides storage for blue clay and wood chips. This setup integrates functionality with the overall design. Above the therapy areas, secret resting rooms offer quiet spaces away from the bustle, enhancing the calm atmosphere of the facility.

Sustainability and Materials

Sustainability is a key focus for GAMMA. The design incorporates solar energy from the roof and facade, aiming for self-sufficiency. A wood heating system, fueled by local wood chips, efficiently contributes to warmth and energy. Materials mentioned in the design include blue clay, which is carefully stored, and concrete, ensuring stability throughout the project.

The architecture effectively emphasizes connection to the outdoors while prioritizing user comfort. Views of the surrounding landscape, ample natural light, and the layout of different spaces work together to create a restful environment. Visitors can feel at ease, basking in a setting that blends well with its natural backdrop.
