The layout features two main sections: a Visitor Center and Coffee Shop, and an Administration Building. The Visitor Center is designed to accommodate about 200 people, welcoming visitors as they arrive from the access road. The smaller Administration Building supports the essential functions needed for the operation and management of the site while also directing attention toward the Hverfjall volcano. Materials and Construction

Concrete shells form the primary structure, ensuring stability and insulation.
