Angelo Brollo and David Cirocchi from Italy

We come from different countries, Italia and Argentina, and we each studied architecture in our own country, respectively in Florence (IT) and in Resistencia (AR). We met in Spain, in Valencia studying in the MArch, a master's degree in architecture design and innovation, developed between the European University of Valencia and the international architecture studio Fran Silvestre Arquitectos.

Brief information about the projects that you/your company have been involved with. For instance, what scale have you focused on/preferred, any significant projects where the company/ individuals have been involved?

We focus mainly on residential buildings and exhibition spaces, maintaining a strong site focus.

What does architecture mean to you and what is the role of an architect in your society?

To has always been a great passion and architecture allows us to design spaces and volumes that then serve as an aid to people's daily lives, which is the most important aspect of our work.

Why do you participate in architecture competitions?

We like to participate in architecture competitions because the proposals are always very interesting and allow us to experiment with new concepts in different places.

What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture competitions?

The most important thing is not to think about the outcome of the competition, but to understand the challenge in its entirety and to try out new design solutions as much as possible.
