Honorable mention winners from Spain

Both of us graduated in 2022 from the prestigious International University of CEU, Valencia, where we successfully completed our degrees in Architecture. Currently, we are pursuing our professional careers in different architectural offices. Barbara is based in Spain, while Jade is situated in Luxembourg.

Brief information about the projects that you/your company have been involved with. For instance, what scale have you focused on/preferred, any significant projects where the company/ individuals have been involved?

As young architects embarking on our professional journey, we acknowledge that our experience with specific projects may be limited. However, throughout our academic endeavors, we have diligently explored and engaged with projects of various scales. Our commitment to architectural design extends across all layers, regardless of scale. We approach each project with unwavering attention to detail, ensuring a comprehensive and holistic design approach. While our professional experience may be nascent, our dedication and passion for the field drive us to continuously learn and grow as architects.

Why do you participate in architecture competitions?

We humbly participate in architecture competitions, acknowledging the valuable opportunities they provide for our growth and learning. These competitions allow us to challenge ourselves, refine our skills, and broaden our horizons.

What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture competitions?

Participating in competitions is not solely about winning, but also about personal and professional development. Embrace the process, the chance to experiment, and the opportunity to refine your skills.
