Take a seat and make a statement!
We’d like to take the opportunity to introduce you to one of our Honorable mention winners for our "Tokyo Urban Meditation Cabins" competition – Jiahui Yan, Bo Nan, Kaiqian Wang and Miao Li from China!
Honorable mention from China
We are currently year 4 undergraduate students in China, majoring in architecture. Architecture for us is a discipline that integrates technology and art in creating spatial places with the spirit of the times and environmental characteristics.
We have not been involved with any projects.
Architecture is to connect space and people harmoniously. Buildings of all classes are given humanistic care by architects.
While design assignments within schools often have a lot of rules and regulations, competitions allow us to maximize our whims. Participating in architecture competitions has helped us develop our passion for architectural design, so that we would not lose ourselves in rigid academic projects.
Any architecture competitions that you are interested in and can do to the best of your ability must be beneficial for you. The courage to sign up, the training of design ability and the improvement of presentation skills are all invaluable.
