Please tell us about your company (when it was founded, where it is based, how many employees, etc) Alternatively, if you do not have a company, please give us some insights on your own professional/academia background.

I am an architect passionate about art. I graduated from FAU UnB, and since then, I have been focused on producing art and occasionally participating in competitions.

Brief information about the projects that you/your company have been involved with. For instance, what scale have you focused on/preferred, any significant projects where the company/ individuals have been Involved?

I enjoy participating in unique competitions with intriguing stories behind them. I work across all scales, from objects to urban planning. My most recent noteworthy project was designing the medal for the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Gangwon, which won a design competition promoted by the IOC.

What does architecture mean to you and what is the role of an architect in your society?

My advice is not to see it as a competition but as an opportunity to put your full potential into practice. The job market can be a graveyard of talents, and competitions don't let the true architect within you die.

Why do you participate in architecture competitions?

In these competitions, I feel free. I believe that for an artist, nothing is better than the feeling of freedom to create.

What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture competitions?
