What does architecture mean to you and what is the role of an architect in your society?

Living in a popular city in Vietnam, architecture has become an integral part of our lives. For us, the concept of "architecture" evolves day by day through our experiences of hearing, feeling, and learning. Architecture is a form of art that can be either very complex or quite simple, depending on one's perception. Each architectural structure possesses its own soul, which is not solely derived from the materials used in construction, but also from the atmosphere of its surroundings and the relationships between its inhabitants and the building itself. This is what I love the most about architecture.

Why do you participate in architecture competitions?

We want to compete with many people around the world. Besides that, participating in competitions can help us improve our knowledge, skills, logical thinking, and perspective on different programs and architectural scales.

What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture competitions?

For us, participating in architecture competitions will provide the opportunity to learn and develop new skills, explore various creative processes, and propose innovative solutions, designs, and ideas.
