Design a sustainable food court structure for the heart of a classical music festival

We’d like to take the opportunity to introduce you to one of our Honorable mention winner for our "SKYHIVE Skyscraper Challenge #5" competition – Chuchu Chen from United States!
Chuchu Chen from United States
I am currently a first-year graduate student in Interior Architecture at Rhode Island School of Design. And my undergraduate is in the China Academy of Art, majoring in Landscape Architecture. The cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary background allows me to think out of the box and continuously broaden my academic vision.
I have a keen interest in both landscape, interior, and architecture. At present, as a student, I will continue to learn to improve myself, and in the future, I plan to take the direction of interior architecture (adaptive reuse) as my career direction.
Architecture is powerful. The architects in my eyes are constantly trying to give new meaning to abandoned or neglected buildings, conveying a critical view of contemporary architectural development and urbanization. I strongly believe that all creation is re-creation.
Participating in competitions is a way to challenge and express myself. There are not too many restrictions, there is more room to play, and the design will be more interesting. Seeing the designs of talented people also inspired me.
Never be afraid to fail, believe in your creativity, and the experience of participating in architecture competitions will be a part of your growth.
