We have met at the University of Applied Arts Vienna where we work together, coming from different backgrounds being educated in Vienna at the same university and at the Architectural Association in London.
Brief information about the projects that you/your company have been involved with. For instance, what scale have you focused on/preferred, any signicant projects where the company/ individuals have been Involved?
Next to recently starting our collaboration, we both have professional experience ranging across wide scales - from large urban developments to public buildings and small residential projects.
What does architecture mean to you and what is the role of an architect in your society?
We see the role of an architect as one to always be attentive to changes in contemporary conditions and to respond with the aim of providing enriched spaces for living.
Why do you participate in architecture competitions?
Competitions are opportunities to engage with exciting briefs, to test and build upon your ideas more freely developing personal interests and approaches.
What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be benecial for them to participate in architecture Competitions?
We see every challenge of answering a new brief, for which competitions are the most versatile, a beneficial opportunity to question yourself and to test your position anew.
