Please tell us about your company (when it was founded, where it is based, how many employees, etc) Alternatively, if you do not have a company, please give us some insights on your own professional/academia background.

Form Plus Function was initially adopted as our team name for our collective endeavours in the field of architecture, whether participating in architectural competitions or engaging in other related activities. Since then, we have consistently adhered to the same ideology as we transitioned into the professional field.

Brief information about the projects that you/your company have been involved with. For instance, what scale have you focused on/preferred, any significant projects where the company/ individuals have been Involved?

We have had experience with designing individual houses and small office spaces. Our recent participation in the Tree House Competition 2021 by Volume Zero has been our most beloved design.

Why do you participate in architecture competitions?

Architectural competitions serve as a dynamic medium through which we articulate our ideologies to a broader audience. These competitions provide a unique platform, offering us the opportunity to redefine our creative boundaries and push the limits of innovation.

What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture competitions?

Architecture Competitions aren't just about winning; they serve as an expansive platform, facilitating the transition from a limited audience to a wider one. This setting allows individuals to showcase solutions they ardently believe address the evolving demands of our times. It is a platform where participants get an opportunity to learn and grow together not just as their individual team but also to contribute to the collective growth of a unified community.
