Design a sustainable food court structure for the heart of a classical music festival

We’d like to take the opportunity to introduce you to one of our Honorable mention winner for our "Home For The Blind" competition – Kateryna Kulish from Poland!
Kateryna Kulish from Poland
Graduated in Architecture in 2021, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. Had worked in Sweco Poland in Sustainable Building department on BREEAM Certification cases. Lately had changed the field to 3D Modelling and Architectural Visualisation, currently joining the team of PickSell Studio.
Usually, I was included in process of setting tasks, identifying risks, and supervising the execution of design solutions In Sweco we concentrated on new constructions and provided consulting at every stage - pre-certification, construction process, postconstruction appraisal.
For me, architecture is a physical representation of time, epoch, state of mind of the whole, but very particular generation. Therefore an architect is the one, who is able to perceive this knowledge, experience it with all senses, and proceed it into physical form, filled with function.
I see architecture competitions as a great opportunity to focus on topics that really bother me.
I would say that it is always good to push your limits. Even when you are not winning, the work you’ve done is putting you one step ahead, and that is the fundamental benefit, let alone the opportunity to discuss your visions with the world.
