BeauTily Wine Italy Guest Homes is located in the beautiful landscapes of central Italy. This development blends into the surroundings while preserving historical elements and introducing modern design ideas. It serves as a destination for wine tourism, providing accommodations and tasting experiences that highlight the region's rich wine culture.

Design Concept

The design concept draws inspiration from the principles of a planting system, applying these ideas to both the landscape and the building itself. A grid system acts as the organizing framework, shaping the layout and proportions throughout the project. The main stone building remains intact, maintaining its rural character while gaining new life within the natural landscape. This effort honors the historical significance of the structure.

Spatial Organization

The layout arranges guest homes around a central building that features the Wine Tasting Area. This positioning encourages visitors to move easily between spaces, leading them from the main structure to the swimming pool and on to the guest houses. Such arrangement enhances the experience, fostering a sense of community among guests. A walkway along the water connects these homes, inviting engagement with the surroundings.

Sustainability and Materiality

Sustainability is a key focus, and the choice of materials plays an important role. Local bricks are used in the construction of the guest homes, strengthening the connection to the region's architectural traditions. The exterior walls are covered with local stones, blending the development into the historical context of Assisi. To promote energy efficiency, the design includes thermal insulation and solar panels on the roof. These features demonstrate respect for the environment.

Architectural Details

Among the notable design elements are flexible wood panels on the walkway, which allow guests to adjust their privacy and interaction with the surroundings. These panels add functionality while creating visual interest, as they can be opened or closed based on personal preference. The orientation of the swimming pool and guest homes is thoughtfully planned to maximize natural light, creating a warm atmosphere. As the sun sets, the fading light casts a gentle glow, enhancing the beauty of the space and deepening the connection to the landscape.
