The Tili Vini Italy Guest Homes project is located in Spello, a historic town in the province of Perugia, eastern-central Umbria, Italy. Known for its rich history and beautiful architecture, Spello sets the ideal scene for a project that combines local culture with modern hospitality. The design encourages visitors to enjoy organic wines while taking in picturesque sunset views, aiming to create an inviting atmosphere that emphasizes community and a connection to nature.

Design Concept
The design concept reflects a balance between traditional elements and modern living. The entrance features arches inspired by the ancient gates of Spello, welcoming guests into a wine-tasting area that serves as both a social hub and reception space. This area is functional and includes seating, a fireplace, a small kitchen, restrooms, and space for luggage. It engages visitors in the local culture of winemaking while providing comfort and accessibility.

Spatial Arrangement
The layout prioritizes guest experience while maintaining personal space. Guest homes are oriented to capture sunset views, enhancing the feeling of peace and relaxation. Each unit includes a kitchenette, living room, dining area, storage, bedroom, and restroom. The design allows for flexibility through the option of connecting two homes with a glass corridor, encouraging a sense of community among guests.

Materiality
The project uses various materials that reflect the character of Umbria. The exterior showcases a mix of stucco, local limestone, and glass blocks along with a rusted plate finish. These materials are chosen not only for their aesthetic appeal but also for their ability to connect the buildings to their surroundings. The thoughtful selection anchors the design in the local context and enriches the overall experience.

Interior Design
Interior spaces are designed with local motifs, lending authenticity to the homes. The use of a monotone stucco finish is complemented by design elements inspired by the Umbria region's flag and the Infiorate di Spello festival. These touches enhance the welcoming atmosphere and reinforce the connection to the cultural landscape.

Every guest home is carefully crafted to invite natural light, with large windows framing beautiful outdoor views. This design encourages a connection between inside and outside, allowing guests to fully appreciate the tranquil environment.
