The Tili Wine Guest House offers a unique experience that combines winemaking with hospitality in an inviting setting. The design concept is rooted in the various stages of wine production, giving each area its purpose while enhancing the overall enjoyment for guests. With its focus on nature and relaxation, the guest house encourages visitors to connect with both the architecture and the scenic landscape.

Architectural Concept

The layout divides the guest house into five key areas, each representing a different phase of winemaking. The first section, Vendemmia, welcomes guests, creating a friendly entrance. Pigiatura is designed for conviviality, featuring spaces for tasting wine and sharing meals. Fermentazione provides a peaceful retreat, with residences oriented westward to allow guests to enjoy beautiful sunsets. The Conservazione e Invecchiamento area emphasizes relaxation, including a swimming pool and a small vineyard. Finally, Imbottigliamento focuses on communal experiences, encouraging interaction among guests during meals.

Common Area Design

The guest house's common area resides in a renovated farmhouse that blends traditional design with modern elements. The first floor contains a reception area and a wine tasting counter, along with a kitchen and spaces for visitors to gather. The second floor serves as a panoramic restaurant and breakfast area where glass walls bring in plenty of natural light and create a strong connection with the outdoors. This design enhances the guest experience by allowing them to view the natural beauty surrounding the building.

Residential Spaces

The residences are open spaces designed specifically for couples, promoting a calm and intimate atmosphere. Each unit faces west, granting individuals stunning views of sunsets that foster relaxation. The use of glass in the residences ensures ample light while forging a closer relationship with the landscape outside. This thoughtful layout allows guests to fully immerse themselves in their environment.

Sustainable Features

Sustainability is a priority, with solar panels included to support energy independence. The design reflects a rustic Wabi-sabi approach, showcasing natural textures and embracing imperfections. This philosophy emphasizes a simpler lifestyle that resonates with the location's natural beauty. Every aspect of the guest house contributes to a pleasant retreat for guests, centered around the principles of winemaking.

The design wraps up with a spacious terrace, providing a place for guests to enjoy their surroundings. Carefully placed seating areas encourage appreciation of the landscape, making it easy for visitors to engage with the beauty of their environment.
