The architectural vision titled "Yurt" creates a space dedicated to artists for their creative work. Situated in Puebla de Fantova, the design blends various private and public areas, addressing the needs of artists while promoting community connections. The concept revolves around fostering an environment that effectively combines function with artistic inspiration.

Master Plan and Zoning

The master plan includes essential elements such as a building, exhibition space, walkway, road, open area, and playground. This layout supports a mix of activities and uses, enhancing accessibility throughout the site. The landscape design is divided into two zones: the Active Zone and the Quiet Zone. The Active Zone features sports fields and playgrounds, encouraging physical activity. In contrast, the Quiet Zone offers public green spaces, meditation spots, and outdoor exhibitions, providing a space for reflection.

Internal Circulation and Functional Areas

Inside, the design emphasizes practical use with clearly defined spaces for different artistic activities. Areas for yoga and meditation, co-working, and artist workshops make up the interior layout. Each workshop spans around 30 square meters, positioned for optimal sunlight and easy access to facilities. The internal flow between rooms allows for movement, connecting individual work areas with places for communal gatherings.

Materials and Sustainability

A consideration of environmental impact is apparent in the materials chosen for the exterior. The architect has opted for natural clay and stone, choices that promote sustainability and respect for the landscape. These materials not only aim to reduce negative effects on air quality but also ensure that the design remains visually appealing in its surroundings.

Landscape Integration

The landscape design also focuses on preserving existing natural features while integrating green spaces that serve the local community. The inclusion of olive and almond groves demonstrates a care for the ecological context, enhancing the overall character of the area.

The design facilitates social interaction with open areas and shaded spaces, allowing artists and visitors to connect. This thoughtful approach creates an inviting environment for creativity and collaboration.
