CIUDADELA is an architectural design situated in a village setting where different functions come together. The project combines working spaces, living areas, and recreational facilities in a way that encourages interaction and community spirit. The overall design focuses on promoting social connections and providing opportunities for creativity through its various offerings.

Community Spaces

The layout features co-working areas designed for a variety of activities, supporting collaboration among users. A Yoga Center provides a peaceful spot for relaxation and mindfulness, enhancing community wellness. The presence of workshops allows for hands-on creativity, while a coffee shop acts as a gathering place. It offers indoor and outdoor seating, encouraging casual meetings and social exchanges.

Residential Design

Villas are included in the planning to cater to visitors seeking holiday accommodations. These residences reflect the village's character and incorporate dedicated spaces for artists, fostering an environment conducive to creative work. This thoughtful approach ensures that artistic activities are part of everyday life in the community.

Spatial Organization

Key to the design are the two main squares: the Main Square and Park Square. The Main Square serves as a central point for village life, featuring an Agora intended for markets, theaters, and other events that bring people together. Meanwhile, Park Square functions as the main green area, aimed at recreation and providing a calm space that minimizes outside noise. Children have designated areas for play, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere.

Materials and Integration

Throughout CIUDADELA, local materials are used to connect new buildings with the existing landscape. This thoughtful selection helps create a sense of continuity and belonging. Large windows allow plenty of natural light into indoor spaces, enhancing the overall experience while maintaining views of the surrounding nature. The careful blend of function and aesthetics adds to the project's appeal, creating a vibrant place where people can live, work, and relax.
