Design a sustainable food court structure for the heart of a classical music festival

We’d like to take the opportunity to introduce you to the Buildner Student and Sustainability Award winner of our "Painters' Lake House" competition – Hao Wen from Australia!
Hao Wen from Australia
Bachelor of Architecture Graduate at University of Sydney, currently working full time at a medium scaled firm during my gap year between Bachelors and Masters.
Architecture is a form of expression. It allows the memories of the past and the characteristics of the land to be celebrated, and at the same time, bettering the lives of visitors who interact with it.
I wasn't entirely satisfied with my academic projects, and so external competitions were both a way of improving my skills in designing, and also served as an act of redemption to prove myself.
There is nothing to lose when it comes to architecture competitions. They are a great way of practicing design development and also presentation skills, and at the same time, works wonders in your portfolios.
