Design a sustainable food court structure for the heart of a classical music festival

We’d like to take the opportunity to introduce you to one of our Honorable mention winners for our "Painters' Lake House" competition – Adam Górka and Łukasz Rossa from Poland!
Adam Górka and Łukasz Rossa from Poland
We met in a small architectural office where we dealt with residential architecture, mainly single-family house designs. Although our paths diverged and we currently work in different places, we decided to create a project together. On a daily basis, we study at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology in Warsaw, Poland.
As part of projects at the university, we design projects of various scales and topics. For instance, a research and development campus, a school, or an urban project of a housing estate.
For us, architecture is the art of capturing the sense of space. Each project is different and requires an individual approach to a given problem. It is important for us that the architecture is not only fully functional, but also corresponds to the given location. To achieve this, we always think about site-specific architectural patterns and local materials.
We participate in architectural competitions to test ourselves on the international stage. During our studies, we mainly design in Poland. Competitions, especially international ones, allow us to encounter other cultures with different building and aesthetic needs.
Competitions are a great opportunity to practice teamwork and additional projects are perfect for diversifying your portfolio.
