I work in architecture/urban design in Shenzhen, China, covering everything from urban design scale to individual building renovations.

Brief information about the projects that you/your company have been involved with. For instance, what scale have you focused on/preferred, any significant projects where the company/ individuals have been Involved?

Mainly focusing on public building competitions.

What does architecture mean to you and what is the role of an architect in your society?

They entered the field of architecture out of interest, believing that architects can create rich and interesting spaces for people.

Why do you participate in architecture competitions?

Participating in architectural competitions is one of the most effective ways to enhance personal design skills.

What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture competitions?
