What does architecture mean to you and what is the role of architect in your society?

Architecture is the intimate interactions between art and people, although often people don’t realize how powerful architectural design can impact on their daily life. The unconscious experience provided by architectures evokes our interests and passions in it. As an architect in our society, we have to be aware of the responsibilities that architectures communicate with people in a coherent way.

Why do you participate in architecture vision competitions?

We want to encounter more design opportunities, and make our works visible.

What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture vision competitions?

Competitions give us great design inspirations. As students, we participate in many competitions and learn from the winners and our own experiences.
