We are a team of two architects and one interior designer. Each one of us has our own role in private companies, but we like to get together and create incredible projects. Between us, we have gathered experience in different areas like BIM Modeling, 3D Visualization, illumination projects, and different scales of architecture projects.
This is the first competition we have participated together in! It's our debut in the competition world as a group. But on our own, each one of us has developed different kinds of projects. For example, interior reforms, urban design, sports complex design such as stadiums or velodromes, illumination design for shopping malls, and even furniture design.
For us, architecture is creating moments, creating experiences and memories by considering the surroundings, trying to link the landscape to the space or building through the light and the materials. We believe that the role of the architect is to improve people’s life quality through design. By creating spaces that can develop connections between people, we are creating a better world.
We see competitions as challenges that can put our team work, our knowledge and our commitment to an idea up to the task. This kind of competitions can test our passion and love for architecture and brings a reality check due to the client’s specifications.
We would say to those who are hesitant, that they should go ahead and try it, gather your close friends and have fun with it. The real world is full of responsibilities and projects with very difficult clients. In a competition, you can let your imagination run free and try new things. See them as a potential enhancement of your creativity and not a task you have to fulfill without nothing to lose. We would recommend it because it can give you new ideas, knowledge and different perspectives on the same topic. The daily interaction between your teammates, the trial and error process and the investigation generates an incredible personal and professional growth. So, we encourage you to try it! Go ahead!
