Please tell us about your company (when it was founded, where it is based, how many employees, etc) Alternatively, if you do not have a company, please give us some insights on your own professional/academia background.
We haven't joined any company yet. Deng Hongyang is from Shantou University in China, CAI Yingxue is from Tsinghua University, and Guo Jialing is from Northeast Agricultural University. We are all architecture or related majors.
What does architecture mean to you and what is the role of an architect in your society?
We believe that architecture is one of the most intuitive ways to enhance people's happiness in life, and architects serve as urban decorators in our social environment.
Why do you participate in architecture competitions?
For young architects, there are many challenges to overcome when trying to put their design concepts into practice. However, we want to showcase our innovative ideas, and architectural competitions provide a great opportunity to present our creativity and thinking.
What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture competitions?
You can try boldly and learn through the collision and contrast of ideas, allowing you to develop your thinking more effectively.
