Purman Ltd is a dynamic startup company focused on innovative research in the field of hard polyurethane (PU) waste utilization, particularly from sandwich panels and refrigerator insulation. Founded recently, Purman Ltd aims to develop effective methods to repurpose these materials, contributing to sustainability and waste reduction in the construction and refrigeration industries. Purman Ltd operates under the parent company Hűtépítő Ltd, a well-established entity known for its extensive use of such materials in its construction projects. Hűtépítő Ltd specializes in employing Kingspan products and other thermal insulation structures made from sandwich panels, ensuring high-quality and energy-efficient solutions. As the CEO of Purman Ltd, I personally applied for this project, recognizing it as a prime opportunity to showcase our groundbreaking technology to a wider audience. I embarked on the presentation process independently, despite having minimal prior experience, which made the journey both challenging and incredibly educational. This endeavor has not only allowed me to grow professionally but also to gain valuable insights into presenting new technologies effectively. Currently based in Hungary, Purman Ltd is a small but dedicated team, committed to pushing the boundaries of sustainable construction materials and waste management solutions. With a focus on innovation and environmental responsibility, we strive to make a significant impact in our industry. Our new PU recycling technology is currently patent pending.
Brief information about the projects that you/your company have been involved with. For instance, what scale have you focused on/preferred, any significant projects where the company/ individuals have been Involved?
Purman Ltd has developed the first mechanically recycled PU foam, utilizing natural binders and incorporating lignin to produce high-quality PU foam blocks and sheets. These materials are intended for use in construction products, such as those showcased in this presentation. Our recycled hard PU foam can now be used to create SIP panels, doors, partitions, and even furniture. This innovative technology is the result of a collaborative effort between the Purman startup and the Hűtőépítő team. Inspired by this collaboration, we conceptualized the first "purman micro-home", embodying our commitment to sustainability. Environmental consciousness is a core value for us, and we have strived to incorporate this principle to the fullest extent in our demonstration. We focus on projects that emphasize sustainable building materials and practices, aiming to make a significant impact on the construction industry by promoting the use of recycled materials and reducing waste. Through our initiatives, we aim to set a new standard for eco-friendly construction and inspire others in the industry to adopt similar practices.
