What does architecture mean to you and what is the role of an architect in your society?
In our perspective, architecture is a tool for establishing the relationship between people and surrounding environment, as well as a tool for establishing order in people's own lives. Architects are more like the aggregator and reorganizer of the resources around the earth.
Why do you participate in architecture competitions?
We participate in architecture vision competitions when we find extra time during our school work. The value we find in participating in these competitions is that it builds our vision, challenges us to think of design issues that we do not work within the university, and brings more ideas into our future career. Besides, It is also a good way to continue to express ourselves as young architecture students.
What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture competitions?
Architectural competitions could be a good way to test and exchange ideas and approaches, grow professionally as well as an opportunity to express your own efforts and get more publicity.
