We are students from the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology. So far we mainly have done projects for our design class at the University. This is the first competition we have submitted our work to.
What does architecture mean to you and what is the role of an architect in your society?
In a way an architect directs the life that occurs in a given space. After a complex analysis, he responds to social needs that are apparent in a given time and space. His projects and ideas affect our comfort and general happiness. Very often, the way that we feel is directly linked to the place in which we are currently in. We decided to test our check our capabilities as a young architects.
Why do you participate in architecture vision competitions?
We decided to participate in this contest to test our abilities as young architects.
What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture vision competitions?
We think they should just participate. Sometimes people are unsure of their skills or just scared. Competitions like this can only improve their abilities.
