Brief information about the projects that you/your company have been involved with. For instance what scale have you focused on/preferred, any significant projects where company/ individuals have been involved?
Our focus at the moment is medium to small scale projects such as detached houses, summer cabins and guest houses. A big part of the projects are set in a rural context, therefore the connection to the landscape is very strong.
What does architecture mean to you and what is the role of an architect in your society?
Big question. We think architecture itself is not only a tool to improve the built environment, but also about having a vision to recognise and answer the future challenges of our cities.
Why do you participate in architecture vision competitions?
We participate because we believe it is important to develop research through design on a regular basis.
What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture vision competitions?
It is always good to challenge yourself!
