Design a sustainable food court structure for the heart of a classical music festival

We’d like to take the opportunity to introduce you to the Student prize winner of our "Monte D'Oiro Wine Hotel" competition – Celine Kohlhaas from Germany!
Celine Kohlhaas from Germany
I am a 22-year-old student of architecture based in Germany. I just received my bachelor's degree in architecture one month ago from the MSA – Muenster School of Architecture. After that, I started my master studies right away. This competition is the first one I ever took part in, and it was a great experience!
Right now, I can only describe my projects in university. My past projects range from small scales, such as furniture design, to larger scales, such as urban design concepts. I can't tell which project was my favourite because each project brought its own charm. I think that's the beauty of architecture – the diversity in scales.
Architecture is my hobby and passion. As an architect, you should always be aware of the people using the buildings. We should intensively consider the subject of the building. Architecture should bring people together and improve people’s life.
Competitions are great for experiences. You always learn from them. It's a great way to get exposed to new topics and materials, and thereby expand your horizons.
Take part! You have nothing to lose. You always gain experience and knowledge. Every competition is different; every project is different; every circumstance is different – just take the opportunity and go for it!
