Tili Vini Italy is located in the scenic Umbrian valley, close to the historic town of Assisi. It functions as a boutique winery dedicated to producing organic wines. The design centers on blending with the natural surroundings, using colors and forms that reflect the local landscape and cultural heritage.

Main Building Design

The main building acts as the heart of the winery, housing essential areas such as the reception, wine tasting room, and dining space, including a kitchen and staff facilities. This layout welcomes guests while fulfilling operational requirements. Outdoor features include a natural swimming pool and spaces for gatherings, encouraging social interactions and enhancing the overall experience.

Guest Homes Arrangement

Surrounding the main structure are five guest homes, positioned along a central pathway and pool area. Each home is modular and takes inspiration from traditional architectural forms, creating a sense of connection to the local culture. These units are designed with private entrances, ensuite bedrooms, and living/dining spaces that accommodate groups, making them ideal for visitors looking for a peaceful retreat.

Sustainability Practices

Sustainability plays a key role in the design, evident through various strategies. A system for recycling rainwater and greywater is implemented to manage water use effectively, which is increasingly important in today's context. Additionally, existing structures are being repurposed, reflecting a commitment to responsible resource management and environmental care.

Material Selection

The primary material featured is Cross Laminated Timber (CLT), chosen for its eco-friendly qualities and construction efficiency. CLT allows for off-site assembly and helps minimize waste and time on site. This choice supports the overall aim of sustainability and strengthens the building's relationship with the environment.

The integration of structural components, landscaping, and sustainable design within Tili Vini Italy creates a thoughtful example of winery architecture that pays respect to its geographical context while maintaining a focus on ecological responsibility.
