The Tili Vino Guesthouse is located near Monte Subasio, blending into the beautiful landscape of vineyards that surround it. The design offers a retreat for guests while enhancing the winery’s operations. The main idea behind the design is to create an environment that invites guests to connect with nature and enjoy the tranquility of the area.

Integration with Nature

The guesthouse is carefully positioned to provide stunning views of Monte Subasio from each cabin. This thoughtful arrangement ensures that guests can enjoy their privacy while still being able to appreciate the natural beauty around them. The overall layout encourages visitors to engage with the vineyard and promotes a sense of peace and relaxation.

Architectural Form

The structure features a corten box elevated on a steel framework, which frames the picturesque hills in the distance. An opaque cladding system made of gabion panels adds another layer to the design. These panels incorporate rubble from previous buildings along with local aggregates. This material choice connects the building to its historical roots and creates interesting effects of light and shadow inside.

Preserving Heritage

The main structure of the guesthouse is preserved to honor Tili Vino's century-long history. The new elements build on the old ones, creating a relationship between different practices and styles. The careful mix of modern features and traditional architecture allows the space to tell a consistent story while providing updated hospitality options.

Guest Experience

The guesthouse goes beyond simply providing a place to stay; it enhances the overall experience for visitors. The layout allows easy access to various amenities, including Tili Vino's “Sensorial Experiences” and tasting area. Each detail is designed to enrich guests’ time, from the setup of the cabins to the paths that lead into the vineyard.

The design culminates in a patio that offers expansive views of the vineyards. Here, guests can relax and take in their surroundings, fully immersed in the peaceful atmosphere of rural life among the grapevines.
