Buildner announces Re:Form – New Life for Old Spaces, a global architecture competition inviting designers to explore adaptive reuse within spaces under 250 square meters. In response to pressing environmental challenges, Re:Form encourages architects and innovators worldwide to transform existing structures—whether abandoned, underutilized, or currently in use—into designs that serve new and meaningful purposes.
Participants are free to choose any structure, anywhere in the world, to reimagine for a fresh function. This competition celebrates the potential of adaptive reuse to balance sustainability, functionality, and creativity. Winning entries will demonstrate how thoughtful adaptation of existing spaces can positively impact communities and contribute to a sustainable future.
