Brief information about the projects that you/your company have been involved with. For instance what scale have you focused on/preferred, any significant projects where company/ individuals have been involved?

After working in consultancy and a developer firm for more than 6 years, I have decided to start my own practice. During my working experience i have been involved in various projects such as residential projects, commercial projects, industrial projects and mixed development. These experiences and exposure to diversity projects has given me strength and confidence to initiate my own firm 'C Design'. Being a neophyte, I currently initiate the projects on a smaller scale such as interior design works, residential projects and refurbishment works and further working towards the larger scale developments. As an independent architect, I truly believe the achievement of the completion and satisfaction of projects are the best rewards, no matter on what scale the project is.

What does architecture mean to you and what is the role of an architect in your society?

Architecture is ‘endless’ and ‘versatile’. It’s an awareness of social trends, keen business sense, solid engineering skills and an understanding of the law. Architecture, is less about standing for something, and more about its ability to connect the human spirit with the universal concept of past, present and future in such a way that it is contextual and evolving.
