Buildner announces Pavilion Atlas 2026 — a global architecture ideas competition inviting designers to create a conceptual pavilion that tells a story of a country. Participants are asked to select a country they feel connected to and design a pavilion that expresses its cultural, social, environmental, or political identity through architectural narrative. The competition encourages conceptual clarity, emotional depth, and storytelling through space — rather than through symbols or national clichés.
Designs can be situated in any context, real or imagined, and should focus on powerful ideas over technical constraints. All submissions will become part of a global design archive — a map of diverse spatial interpretations from around the world.
The total prize fund for Pavilion Atlas 2026 is 20,000 EUR, with winning entries selected by an international jury. Final registration deadline September 16, 2026. Winners will be announced: December 8, 2026.
