Office architecture has changed dramatically over the decades, with new technology reducing the need for a rigidly structured office layout. In fact, the recent impact of the Coronavirus pandemic has made many businesses rethink the design of their workspaces even more, with flexible remote working quickly becoming the new norm.
The Office 2021 Essay Challenge is calling for essay submissions about office architecture to be featured in the ARCHHIVE BOOKS “What is Office Architecture?” print publication. This competition is being run alongside the Office 2021 Design Challenge in which participants are tasked with using architecture as a tool to improve a worker’s wellbeing as well as their productivity in the workplace. The competitions can be entered individually or together.
Winning essays will receive a share of the 1,000€ prize fund and will be included in the ARCHHIVE BOOKS “What is Office Architecture?” print publication. Visit architecturecompetitions.com/officearchitecture for more information.
