Introduction
The Moroccan Oasis Architecture Competition invites architects and designers to create a multifunctional complex that honors the rich heritage and sustainable future of the Alaoui family's ancestral lands near Fes, Morocco. This competition emphasizes integrating luxury, sustainability, and community engagement.

The Royal Family: The competition is deeply rooted in the history and legacy of the Alaoui family, who have held this land for centuries. This project is supported by descendants of the family, including Shariffa Lalla Amina El Alaoui and her sons, Almamoun Benmira and Hamza Benmira.

The Assignment: Participants are tasked with designing a space that serves as a home and retreat, fostering a deep connection with the local community and environment. The challenge is to blend modern architectural practices with the traditional Moroccan aesthetic, ensuring that every design respects and reflects the historical significance of the site while incorporating innovative sustainability features.

Competition is open to all. No professional qualification is required. Design proposals can be developed individually or by teams (4 team members maximum). Correspondence with organizers must be conducted in English; All information submitted by participants must be in English.
